1. To demonstrate the feasibility of simultaneously reducing water consumption and Carbon footprint that puts into practice a technical solution based on the use of Combined Electrochemical Oxidation and Membrane Filtration. Model produces hydrogen as by-product, energy is supplied by renewable photoelectric solar panels and it is controlled by an intelligent system.
  2. To optimize the system, assessing different components and verifying that is a viable option.
  3. To facilitate process' transfer, carrying out technical, economic and adaptation studies to better apply this process in other areas that share same problem. Model will be validated with waste waters from different industries: flavours and fragrances, juice, frozen and pickled.
  4. To disseminate and transmit experience and knowledge generated at European level by means of active demonstration and diffusion activities adapted to different stakeholders.
